Welcome to Christmas, a wintery painting by artist Janet Kruskamp. The warm glow of a winter sunset suffuses this festive scene. The snowclad pine tree in the yard is festooned with small colorful lights, and sparkling lights are wound around the porch pillars and scalloped along the roof under the short icicles. The short snowy path leads to the porch steps past the chilly mailbox stuffed with last minute presents.
