General Store 1934, one of Janet Kruskamp's Americana Scenes original painting, by the Artist

a women stands inside the double doors of the local general store while a small boy points at the candy jar the storekeeper is presenting. A Cocker Spaniel sitting on the braided rug in front of the door turns his had back to look at you. The porch is filled with vegetables and melons, along with seed and feed. Signs cover the outside of the building and the shelves inside are filled with dry goods. A post office is visible through the left window, while hats are displayed in the window on the right.
